BACKGROUND
Throughout his career, Joe Morrone has been involved in the development and execution of high volume consumer goods and products. The companies he and his team have worked with consider speed to market, low cost of goods and product quality key assets to their successes.
As Vice President of Engineering for Hasbro, Inc. he developed processes and procedures to meet the highest of standards and toughest of deadlines. His core strengths include strategic vision, communication, leadership, global outlook, and dynamic coaching/mentoring.
Today, J Morrone Consulting provides on site services that sharpen your company's focus, capabilities and overall product development performance. In addition, J Morrone Consulting draws upon a team of senior industrial designers and engineers to provide turnkey product development solutions that take a product from the initial concept to final production.
RECENT ACHIEVEMENTS
- Designed and develop a proprietary process for metalizing plastic cutlery which does not infringe any existing patents for Pactiv Corporation a subsidiary of Reynolds Group Holdings Ltd.
- Developed and designed the product development milestones system currently being implemented for The Fuller Brush Company.
- Designed, implemented and managed the product development process for SCS Toys, Ltd, Hong Kong.
- Managing the transition from Chain Manufacturer to a Finished Goods Supplier for the National Chain Group.
- Provided support on the development and sourcing phases on “Jack and JoJo’s Perfect Beach Day” for Lylih Kids, LLC. JMC worked closely with the China vendors, managing all aspects of the sampling program, production requirements and testing criteria.
- Designed, developed, and engineered the Power Station Cleaning System, a portable bicycle power washing unit, for Finish Line Technologies., Inc. JMC also provided costing and China sourcing recommendations.
